I'm Malcolm, an Accredited CBT (Cognitive Behavioural) psychotherapist, and an Associate Member of ISST (the International Schema Society).

You’re probably at my website because you are looking for a therapist. There are so many of us to choose from. Therapy, in my opinion, is a bit like exercise. People have very different needs.

I offer two options for new clients.

 

If you have immediate issues such as anxiety or depression, we will use CBT to tackle these issues.

If you have longer-lasting issues, that might feel almost impossible to change, we’ll also use the power of schema-aware therapy.

I worked with Malcolm to try to deal with a sense of gloom that had settled over my life. I gradually began to understand how much Social Anxiety was an issue for me and together we worked on experiments to help me challenge my negative perceptions of myself.

I have experience working with issues such as safeguarding, memory loss and dementia. I also work with issues around sexual and gender identify, and with the LGBTQ+ community. I was a qualified Social Worker, England, SW. 120272
